A book of short poems for twenty two main characters (villagers) to act out in the form of a play on stage where each part is as important as the rest. The poetry was written to recreate and help students relate to the life of children during medieval times. Each and every character part was carefully developed using realistic elements to create an understanding of true historical facts. The text and illustrations depict the daily life of the people from a medieval village in England in the year 1255. The monologues explain the peoples way of life, their traditions, their preferred activities and sports, their religious perspectives and their struggle to survive.
